Arup K. Chatterjee is a literary critic, cultural historian, poet, and the author of the critically acclaimed books, The Great Indian Railways, Indians in London, Adam's Bridge, and Ram Setu, his writing spans history, literature, and politics, with contributions to journals and magazines all across the globe. The founding editor of Coldnoon: International Journal of Travel Writing & Travelling Cultures, he has published widely, and has coined and developed the theory of gastromythology in food, literary, and cultural studies.
